Lex Grey and the Urban Pioneers are in the midst of midsummer fun with an exciting schedule! The band is continually evolving and experimenting with different instrumentations and and great guest soloists throughout the season. Please check the date page for more shows near you. The Urban Pioneers have been steadily rocking since 1995 and this year promises the long awaited follow up to 2007's critically acclaimed CD, "Va Va Voom". We are proud to announce that all five of our releases, "Deal Me In", "Beg, Borrow, Steal!", "American Heroine","Body of Work", and "Va Va Voom" have been re-mastered and are currently available at CD Baby, I tunes and many other internet outlets and of course at all shows along with fantastic new T shirts! Many thanks to our awesome fanbase for all of your enthusiasm and support...and songwriting inspiration! Careful what you whisper to Lex at the bar...it could be the next new song!

Lex Grey and The Urban Pioneers welcomes summer with some exiting news and shows. The band will be featured at The Riverhead Blues Festival on July 18th, Catskill Park July 29th, Madams Organ in Washington D.C. on August 6 and 7th, check the date page for more shows near you for updates as this is promising to be a exciting summer.
Lex Grey and The Urban Pioneers are in their 15th year as a band and 2010 promises the long awaited follow-up to 2008's critically acclaimed CD 'Va Va Voom'. We are proud to announce that all 5 of our CD's, 'Deal Me In, Beg Borrow Steal, American Heroine, Body of Work and Va Va Voom' have been re-mastered and are currently available at C.D. Baby, ITunes as well as other internet outlets.
As you read this we are hard at work on our latest C.D., 'Lightning in a Jar' and getting ready for a busy summer season planning to reach out to loyal Lex fans who come from many different worlds and ages to embrace the soul of the blues.
